The journey typically takes about 2.5 hours, including breaks, making it a perfect half-day adventure. Cut the adventure in half and take a taxi back to San Pancho after some lunch and a well earned margarita. There is a second option to this hike along the beach. Take San Pancho beach south across the former president’s estate to Playa Malpasos then continue on the beach south to Sayulita.
